Fans Think Ariana Grande and Ryan Murphy Have A New Project Together
Rumors are flying that Ariana Grande is reuniting with her ‘Scream Queens’ producer Ryan Murphy for a new project following a major hint on social media.
On Sunday, April 23rd, Murphy (“American Horror Story,” “Glee,” “Pose”) posted a haunting photo of a man covered head-to-toe in spandex to Instagram with the caption, “Coming soon…” What grabbed the attention of Stan Twitter, though, was Murphy‘s “following” count on Instagram which currently includes only two people: his husband, David Miller, and Grande.

Fans speculate that Grande could guest appear on the upcoming 10th season of “American Horror Story,” which Murphy created and produces. The casting choice would make sense for Murphy, who brought on Lady Gaga for the show’s fifth season to play the fashionista widow Elizabeth Johnson – AKA, The Countess.

There are also rumors that Murphy will revive his short-lived series, “Scream Queens,” in which Grande appeared on five episodes. Fans have been begging for a new season ever since it was cancelled after just two seasons on Fox.
In February 2019, Murphy addressed a possible revival and opened up a conversation around how it could be revamped.

So many people recently have been asking me about rebooting or continuing SCREAM QUEENS (RIP, taken too soon). Emma, Billie, Lea and I have mused on it, but question: should it be a six episode limited? A catch up movie? Who should I bring back? Would love your thoughts. So many questions….
Grande was previously rumored to be cast in Murphy‘s musical-comedy film, “The Prom,” for Netflix last summer. Following an incorrect report from Deadline, Grande‘s team confirmed that the singer would not be taking part in the project due to scheduling issues around the “Sweetener World Tour.”

Interestingly enough, Grande is currently not following Murphy on Instagram. Maybe the rumors mean nothing, but fans seem more convinced that Murphy is trying to stir up buzz for a collaboration with the singer. In addition to working on “AHS,” Murphy is juggling a handful of upcoming projects including the TV series “Consent,” the TV mini-series “Halston” and the Netflix documentary “A Secret Love.”
